The European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) represents people with arthritis/rheumatism, health professionals, and scientific societies of rheumatology across Europe. Its mission is to reduce the burden of rheumatic diseases on individuals and society by improving treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal diseases. EULAR promotes excellence in education and research in rheumatology, translating research advances into daily care, and advocating for the recognition of the needs of people with musculoskeletal diseases by governing bodies in Europe. The organisation supports education, research, prevention, and treatment of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases, including those of the musculoskeletal or locomotor system as well as systemic immune-mediated diseases.
