AICO Technologies, founded in 2014, specializes in home automation and has developed a universal controller called the "Smart Egg." This egg-shaped device connects to users' phones via Bluetooth and communicates with home appliances through infrared (IR) technology. Priced at $89, the Smart Egg allows users to control and schedule the timing of various home appliances such as TVs, air conditioners, and fans. Additionally, the device can automatically trigger scenes based on the user's location. AICO Technologies has achieved significant milestones, including a successful Kickstarter campaign with over 2000 backers, and plans to launch the Smart Egg internationally in the third quarter of 2016.
