TREAT-NMD is a global organization that unites stakeholders in the neuromuscular field to accelerate research, therapy development, and collaboration. They address barriers in translational research, such as lack of standardized care guidelines and support tools for clinicians and researchers. TREAT-NMD also facilitates access to relevant expertise and patient cohorts for clinical trials, ultimately improving patient care and promoting best practices. Initially funded by the EU, TREAT-NMD has expanded from its European roots to become a leading research organization in the field.
