Vijay Tirathrai

Vijay is the Managing Director of Techstars Dubai Accelerator, the worldwide network that supports entrepreneurs through its mentor-driven accelerator program. Prior joining Techstars, he was the former Global CEO and Chairman of the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) based in Washington D.C.; where he led the growth of 13,000+ leading global entrepreneurs represented in 65 countries Vijay has founded several businesses in Asia and was a pioneer in this field; including cycling helmets, events production, and association management shared services. Early in his career he served in senior executive roles namely in fashion retail and clothing manufacturing. Throughout his career, he has taken up leadership roles at the Young President Organization, organizing the 16th Commonwealth Games and as a trustee at Richmond University, London. Now based in Dubai, Vijay has previously lived and worked in Washington D.C, London, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Hong Kong. He proactive in the international entrepreneurial ecosystem as an investor and mentor. He is passionate about cycling and exploring world heritage sites.
