As the demand for cleaner, battery-based energy storage systems and electric vehicles increases, so too does the demand for battery-quality lithium hydroxide. Covalent Lithium aims to play a key role in enabling a clean energy future by establishing a mine, concentrator, and refinery in Western Australia to extract, process and refine lithium hydroxide. By having complete control over the end-to-end value chain, the project will deliver significant benefits to the WA economy and the world, producing enough lithium hydroxide to enable approximately one million electric vehicles to replace regular vehicles on the road each year.
