The company is developing "OBM rapid A1c", a point-of-care in vitro diagnosis medical device for HbA1c monitoring, which provides lab-accurate results within 15 minutes at the point of care. With OBM rapid A1c, patients can easily monitor their A1c level on a regular basis, saving time traveling back and forth from the doctor's office. Currently, Orange Biomed is conducting research studies for OBM rapid A1c at Seoul Asan Medical Center, which is South Korea's largest hospital and is backed by the Hyundai group, one of Korea's largest conglomerates with a strong emphasis on healthcare.
