The Montreal-based venture capital fund, AQC Capital, was founded in 2012 to support angel investors in Quebec who invest in innovative seed or start-up companies. The fund is mainly sponsored by Investissement Québec, along with the Government of Quebec, the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), the Fonds de Solidarité FTQ, and members of Anges Québec. This joint effort has made more than $30 million available to entrepreneurs, giving them access to greater financial leverage to accelerate the growth of their businesses.
