Founded in 2014, XLR8UH is a public-private partnership between the University of Hawai‘i and Sultan Ventures that aims to convert groundbreaking research into new businesses and jobs, creating economic prosperity through science, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The program conducts two sessions each calendar year and culminates in a highly competitive showcase day where teams present to a panel of investors, partners, and executives. Recently featured in Forbes as one of The Best Startup Accelerators of 2017, XLR8UH is revolutionizing the way innovation is commercialized at universities.
