Founded over 30 years ago as the Free Medical Clinic, Sinclair Health Clinic offers a range of health care services including reproductive health, primary care, mental health care, prenatal care, cancer screening, and community health services. Originally located in the basement of First Presbyterian Church in Winchester, Virginia, the clinic has grown to serve over 1,000 patients in 2014. In 1989, the clinic moved to a more permanent location in an old firehouse on Cork Street, where it continues to provide medical care, referral services, and assistance for medications for just $1.00 per year in rent. In September 2017, the clinic changed its name to honor one of its founders and long-time Medical Director, Dr. Terry Sinclair. The clinic's mission is to ensure that everyone has access to high-quality health care.
