Founded in 1929, Garoto is the largest chocolate factory in Latin America, known for its diverse line of over a hundred chocolate products, including Easter eggs, candies, bars, and cooking chocolate. In 2007, the company expanded into the ice cream category, transforming its popular chocolate brands into popsicles and cones. Garoto was acquired by Nestle in September 2016.
