Since 2007, Family Bank has been a fully-fledged commercial bank regulated by the Central Bank of Kenya and a member of the Deposit Protection Fund and Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation. With a network of 93 branches across the country, the bank has over 1.7 million customers and was the first in Kenya to introduce paperless banking through smart card technology.
