Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Dover, Delaware, Nectero Medical has developed the Nectero EAST®, an endovascular aneurysm stabilization treatment system that delivers a proprietary molecule known as a Stabilizer Agent to the site of the aneurysm. The Stabilizing Agent inhibits further breakdown of the aneurysm by disrupting the “aortic degradation process” and strengthens the vessel wall by cross-linking within the tissue, lowering the risk of rupture. This technology enables earlier intervention in a safer manner, potentially preventing or significantly delaying the need for major endovascular or surgical repair, and allowing many patients to live out their normal life span without facing the challenges of EVAR or surgical repair.
