Founded in 2001, Rein in Sarcoma is a leading sarcoma foundation in the Upper Midwest. Their mission is to find a cure for sarcoma cancers, educate physicians and the public about sarcomas, and provide support to sarcoma survivors and affected families. With over $1.7 million raised, Rein in Sarcoma has made significant strides in funding research, reaching thousands of people, and raising awareness about this rare and highly malignant form of cancer. Sarcomas, which occur in the connective tissues of the body, are diagnosed in approximately 15,000 new cases each year in the United States. While sarcoma cancers are rare among adults, they are among the top three most commonly diagnosed cancers in children. Rein in Sarcoma aims to provide support, research, and education to those affected by sarcoma, helping them navigate their personal battle against the disease.
