The Rocket Venture Fund, LLC, is the funding arm of Rocket Ventures, which was capitalized in 2007 with $7.5 million of private funds from Northwest Ohio investors and $6 million of a State of Ohio Third Frontier grant award. The firm invests in high-tech, early-stage companies and often co-invests with other venture capital funds. In addition to funding, Rocket Ventures also provides pre-investment funds for prototype development, technology validation, and other technology and market development work. Signed client companies are eligible for funding consideration and access to their professional team, who provide assistance and track records of success in launching early-stage tech companies.
