Madworks Accelerator, founded in 2013, provides grants, mentors, lean startup methodology, structure, and access to next-round finance to selected early-stage companies. By following the lean startup approach of "build, measure, learn," startups are encouraged to iterate quickly. Madworks offers a high-energy, 10-week program where entrepreneurs receive capital, office space, and a supportive community of fellow entrepreneurs, mentors, and industry experts. The accelerator accepts early-stage companies from UW-Madison faculty, staff, alumni, students, and the broader Madison community.
