BioGasol's core competencies lie in providing high-performance pretreatment equipment, the "Carbofrac," which builds on process knowledge obtained from working with more than 30 international customers. The company has successfully demonstrated the technology concept in a pilot plant since 2006 and has sold its products to overseas customers. BioGasol's sister company, Estibio, works with industrial partners on scaling up the Pentoferm continuous, high-temperature fermentation process, which utilizes the Pentocrobe microorganism to convert all sugars found in biomass to ethanol. The offices and pilot plants of BioGasol and Estibio are located near Copenhagen, Denmark.
