The software, which is priced competitively and offered through a flexible subscription plan, performs a set of tasks on 3D CAD models to make them "3D printable." These tasks include automatic and manual mesh repair, support generation, mesh offsetting, mesh smoothing and triangle reduction, file compression and export, 2D and 3D nesting, and slicing. MIRA3D is also working on adding features such as 3D scanning tools, design for additive manufacturing tools, topology optimization, one-click print, and numerical simulation to predict print failures and possible issues in part performance prior to 3D printing.
