Claas Nieraad

Claas started his career at AEG and Electrolux Group, holds a dual degree in international management and finance, from the Intermas and Cal. State University and completed a trainee program at the American Heritage Mgmt. Corp. in New York. After returning to Germany Claas was Co-Founder of New Commercial Room Beteiligungsgesellschaft in Hamburg, where he set-up and managed an early stage portfolio of high tech companies, in the area of Medical Devices (Celon AG), Media (moreTV), IT and Clean Tech (SciEngines). Claas also privately invested in companies like buch.de, Realtime Technology AG, and was responsible for several US Investments, incl. Blue Roads and Supperclub. He helped to establish a heathy cooperation with the Halo Funds and the Angels Forum in the Silicon Valley for German Angel Investors and is Mentor to various German Start-Ups and to Crowd Angel Ventures, an Idea Stage Accelerator program, where he also holds a position at the Investment Board. Furthermore he holds board positions with Olympus Europe and currently advises, DC Media Networks, Autarq and the SkyTender project. As Business Angel Claas lately invested time and money in SaaS and mobile Start_ups such as keeeb.com, BRDGE and SynopticCon. Furthermore he is an active musician with the Soul Lounge Connection (www.soloco.de).
