The Mississippi State University Entrepreneurship Center, founded five years ago, is a university-wide resource that fosters a culture of entrepreneurship. It provides support for business start-ups through awards, business planning, and mentoring. The center also creates an alumni network of entrepreneurs and partners with private businesses to expand opportunities. Its mission is to help entrepreneurs connect with the university's extensive alumni network, acquire practical business skills, and launch companies that will shape future markets. By doing so, the center aims to empower students to create their dream jobs and cultivate a culture of entrepreneurship within the university community.
