Enza Biotech is a research and development company that uses enzymatic catalysis to produce bio-based non-ionic surfactants suitable for cosmetics, personal care products, and pharmaceuticals. These surfactants are made using alkylglycosides and oligomeric alkylglycosides, and are designed to meet the needs of the market. Enza Biotech is located in Southern Sweden, with close links to Lund University's scientific environment, and was acquired by the Croda group in 2017. It now operates as a Center of Innovation for Carbohydrate Chemistry.
