The company, which has £3.6 billion of committed capital, invests in various sectors such as greenfield sites, regulated utilities, and transport upgrades to provide investors with exposure to high-quality, predictable, and consistent cash flow generating assets. It was established in 2015 by Greater Manchester Pension Fund and London Pensions Fund Authority and relaunched in 2018 as an Alternative Investment Fund. The fund is supported by a number of UK Local Government Pension Funds, including Northern LGPS and Local Pensions Partnership.
