They specialize in micro-cap investments, seeking to be the first institutional money in (Series A) with the goal of helping build out the company. While their preference would be companies located in the Southwest, they are motivated more by fit than location. They look for companies developing disruptive/disintermediating technologies within the industries they service and seek opportunities in Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, Cyber Security, Video Analytics, Robotic Process Automation, Process Improvement, and Automation. They consider both financial return and social/environmental good to bring about a positive change and seek to build both a diverse and progressive portfolio and an environment that female and minority entrepreneurs have an equal opportunity to get their companies funded.
