Ajit Narayanan

AI Evangelist, Technolgist An electronics engineer by education, Ajit has more than 20 years of expertise in creating products & building organisations across e-commerce, Consumer Internet, Mobile, healthcare, Analytics and Integration Platforms. He is an inventor on many patents in these domains and his current research includes Virtual Assistants, Explainable Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Representation. As a founding member and CTO of mfine, Ajit is responsible for driving the product and technology direction for the company. Working at the intersection of technology and medicine, he is currently building an Artificial Intelligence-based consumer healthcare platform for medical standards, diagnosis and treatment methods. The system is being designed to assist doctors and act as their reference system for medicine. Built on this product foundation, mfine is aiming to scale the delivery and access of quality primary healthcare. In his previous avatar, Ajit was the CTO for Myntra, India's largest e-commerce store for fashion and lifestyle products. At Myntra, Ajit was responsible for leading a 400+ tech team and define strategy and direction for Consumer Applications, Supply Chain, Analytics and Data Science Platforms. Many industry leading solutions in the area of mobile apps, high scalability and AI were developed under his leadership. Ajit started off in mobile technology at SAP, where he built products for offline and online mobile application development, domain programming languages for User Interfaces and Integration and API management. Outside of work, music is his passion. Ajit is a guitarist for a rock band in Bengaluru.
