XLerateHealth is a healthcare accelerator founded in 2013 that supports early-stage healthcare companies in the Midwest, Southeast, and other underfunded areas of the country. They provide mentorship, networking, and intensive support to both affiliates, who have made substantial progress in developing beta sites and strategic relationships, and startups, who are in the very early stages and require extensive guidance. XLerateHealth partners with universities and the NIH to help commercialize life science technologies, and in 2018, they opened a second location in Flint, Michigan. Through their 12-week accelerator program, they connect startups with experts in clinical, academic, and business fields to assist with all aspects of commercialization.
