Will Wang Graylin
Will Wang Graylin has started 5 different high tech companies in the mobile and payment space. He is currently Chairman at PaymateUSA, a turnkey solution provider for Payment Service Providers (PSP) focused on mobile commerce. Most recently, he was founder and CEO of ROAM Data, a leading mCommerce platform provider. He grew ROAM from zero to a $26M annualized run rate before selling his shares to Ingenico. ROAM turns merchants’ mobile devices into secure point of sale (POS) terminals and turns the mobile marketing channel into a mobile sales channel by enabling secure commerce in mobile apps and offers with convenient mobile checkout. Prior to ROAM, Will was founder and CEO of WAY Systems, world’s first pocket size point of sale (POS) solution and service to the market, later acquired by Verifone. WAY Systems won numerous international awards for payment innovation including the Sesames Award at Cartes, and Will was honored with the 2005 “Movers & Shakers Award” by Transaction World magazine. Prior to WAY he was founder and CEO of EntitleNet, a security software company enabling Web and eCommerce applications with secure access management, sold to BEA Systems (now part of Oracle). Before that he was founder and President of Marbles (later Skyfire Technologies,) the world’s first thin-client mobile software company focused on enterprise mobile workforce applications. He is also currently serving on the board of two other companies including NYSE traded Sino Hub (SIHI), a mobile phone supply chain company. Will earned two Masters degrees from MIT (MBA & MSEECS) after serving as a US Navy Nuclear Submarine Officer for nearly 6 years, (he was the first Chinese immigrant to serve in that role, after being naturalized as a US citizen in 1987.)
