Jordan S. Davis

Jordan S. Davis is a Managing Partner and co-founder of Radius, which acts as the Investment Advisor to the Radius Funds. Jordan’s experience spans the founding of new ventures to growth capital stage investing in a broad range of innovative healthcare, medical technology and life sciences companies. Having begun his career at Morgan Stanley & Co., Jordan brings capital markets expertise and perspective to Radius’ portfolio companies as they navigate an increasingly complex and challenging financing environment. Along these lines, KBLHAC successfully completed the acquisition of Concord Health Group, a rapidly growing operator of post-acute care nursing facilities and assisted living residences, where Jordan continued to serve as a board member until its ultimate acquisition by The Multicare Companies. As an entrepreneur, Jordan was a founder of Cambridge Heart, Inc., a cardiology diagnostics company that developed and commercialized breakthrough technology to non-invasively diagnose patients at risk of sudden cardiac death, and Voxware, Inc., a speech technology company and early entrant into the voice over IP market; both of these companies moved from start-up to IPO in three years. Jordan has served on numerous public and private company boards and currently serves on the board of directors of BioStorage Technologies, Inc., Minimally Invasive Devices, Inc. and Tactile Systems Technology, Inc., all Radius portfolio companies. F John Mills

I stepped down as Chairman of BioStorage Technologies, a company I co-founded in 2004, following its successful sale for $127 million to Brooks Automation in December 2015. I’ve had global responsibility for managing clinical research and clinical support services. I have an extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical development, and my expertise is in business and marketing. Prior to founding BioStorage Technologies, I spent three years as Corporate SVP and President of Clinical Support Services for Covance, Inc. (NYSE: CVD), a leading contract research organization headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey. While there, I was responsible for a $300 million-per-year clinical services division that employed more than 2,000 staff members globally. This group included Covance’s central laboratory operations in the United States, Europe, Australia, Singapore and South Africa, as well as clinical trial packaging facilities in the United States and Europe. For six years prior, I was based in the United Kingdom as Corporate VP for Covance’s European Clinical Division where I oversaw operations in a dozen European countries. Prior to my career with Covance, I held senior positions in Asia and Europe with Janssen Pharmaceutica, a division of Johnson & Johnson, Inc.
