Jordan S. Davis is a Managing Partner and co-founder of Radius, which acts as the Investment Advisor to the Radius Funds. Jordan’s experience spans the founding of new ventures to growth capital stage investing in a broad range of innovative healthcare, medical technology and life sciences companies. Having begun his career at Morgan Stanley & Co., Jordan brings capital markets expertise and perspective to Radius’ portfolio companies as they navigate an increasingly complex and challenging financing environment. Prior to Radius, Jordan was a Managing Director at KBL Healthcare, Inc., a health and life sciences venture capital and investment banking firm, where he co-founded and served as Vice President and board member of KBL Healthcare Acquisition Corp. (KBLHAC), the first healthcare focused Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) designed to provide an alternative means for an emerging private healthcare company to access vital growth capital. Along these lines, KBLHAC successfully completed the acquisition of Concord Health Group, a rapidly growing operator of post-acute care nursing facilities and assisted living residences, where Jordan continued to serve as a board member until its ultimate acquisition by The Multicare Companies. As an entrepreneur, Jordan was a founder of Cambridge Heart, Inc., a cardiology diagnostics company that developed and commercialized breakthrough technology to non-invasively diagnose patients at risk of sudden cardiac death, and Voxware, Inc., a speech technology company and early entrant into the voice over IP market; both of these companies moved from start-up to IPO in three years. Jordan has served on numerous public and private company boards and currently serves on the board of directors of BioStorage Technologies, Inc., Minimally Invasive Devices, Inc. and Tactile Systems Technology, Inc., all Radius portfolio companies. In addition to his Radius boards, Jordan also serves on the board of directors of HealthCorps, a national non-profit peer mentoring organization cofounded by Dr. Mehmet Oz, dedicated to fighting childhood obesity through educating and empowering youth to take charge of their health. Jordan earned an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. in Economics from The State University of New York at Binghamton.
