Dr. Lee is the Robert Turrel Professor of Medical Imaging, an abdominal radiologist and Senior Vice Chair of the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an expert in the field of tumor ablation. Dr. Lee is the founder of the clinical and research tumor ablation program at UW Madison, one of the first such programs in the USA. As an early pioneer in the field of tumor ablation, Dr. Lee has enjoyed extensive NIH and industry extramural support and has published on all aspects of thermal ablation products and techniques. He is the lead inventor and patent holder on the commercially available FDA cleared RF Switching ControllerTM (Covidien, Boulder, CO). Dr. Lee co-founded the International Tumor Ablation Working Group, the first worldwide forum for physicians interested in tumor ablation.

Dr. Laeseke is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Medical Scientist Training Program (combined MD/PhD degree program). He performed his doctoral work on multiple-applicator tumor ablation devices and techniques, has lectured nationally and internationally, and has authored numerous manuscripts, book chapters, patents, and abstracts on the subject. Dr. Laeseke has extensive pre-clinical and clinical research experience, and will be starting his radiology residency at Stanford University after completing a surgical internship at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME.

Christopher Brace
Dr. Chris Brace is an Associate Professor with the Departments of Radiology and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin Madison. He received his B.S. degrees in physics and electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 2001, and his Masters and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 2003 and 2005 respectively. He has been a member of the University of Wisconsin Madison faculty since 2009. Dr. Brace's research interests include image-guided interventional oncology, thermal therapies such as radiofrequency and microwave ablation, medical imaging, and applications of electromagnetics in medicine. He is the author of numerous papers, conference presentations, book chapters and patents on thermal tumor ablation with much of this work funded by federal and institutional grant support. His research led to the development of technologies employed by NeuWave Medical, Inc.
