Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer

Eduardo (Duda) Sirotsky Melzer is the CEO and cofounder of EB Capital. Up until 2015, he was president of the media group Grupo RBS, one of the largest multimedia communications companies in Brazil, where he currently serves as chairman. He is also a cofounder and chairman of e.Bricks Ventures, a venture capital and private equity firm. Melzer began his career in Brazil in financial and franchising markets, where he worked at the master franchiser office for Sweet Sweet Way and participated in projects for the consulting firm Booz, Allen, & Hamilton. After moving to the US, Melzer worked for Delphi Corporation as a senior analyst, before moving on to serve as CEO of Top Box Media in New York. Melzer has been the recipient of several rewards during his professional tenure. In 2006, he received the Caboré Award in the Professional Vehicle category. In 2009, he was the Professional Highlight of the Brazilian Advertising Association (ABP) in the Executive Vehicle category. In 2011, Melzer received the 2011 Coletiva.Net Award in the Marketing Management/Communication/Communication Group category. In 2015, he received both the Merit Award in Administration from the Regional Management Council of Rio Grande do Sul (CRA-RS) and was chosen for the list of leaders at the Cambridge Institute for Family Enterprise. Melzer received an undergraduate degree in business administration from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School.
