Founded in 2008, Billiken Angels Network, also known as BAN, is a venture capital firm that primarily invests in companies based in the St. Louis region. They aim to make a difference in the local economy by providing funds and expertise to businesses that have the potential to make an impact. BAN considers businesses at any stage and in any industry, with a preference for companies with connections to Saint Louis University. They closed in September 2017 after making 34 investments in 20 companies. Membership in BAN was open to accredited investors who were committed to supporting entrepreneurship through education at Saint Louis University.
