TVA Medical, founded in 2008, is a medical device company that specializes in creating minimally invasive therapies for the treatment of end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and peripheral vascular disease. Their flagship product, the everlinQ endoAVF system, uses an endovascular approach to create an arterio-venous fistula (AVF) for hemodialysis in patients with kidney failure. This procedure is less invasive than traditional AVF surgery and causes less trauma to the vessels. TVA Medical is also developing a catheter-based AV fistula system for ESRD treatment. The company is funded by Santé Ventures.
