Description

Arterius' solution matches the ease of delivery of Bare Metal Stent (BMS) and Drug-Eluting Stent (DES), and is designed to decrease acute platelet adherence and thrombus formation. The Arteriosorb™ Biodegradable Scaffold is produced using a proprietary method for enhancing the strength of the polymer tubing, and is intended to support the vessel during remodelling, and to biodegrade leaving no permanent implant. Established in 2009, Arterius Ltd. aims to exploit opportunities in the multi-billion dollar coronary stent market.
