George McNamee
George McNamee has served as a director since August 1999; he brings extensive experience with the management of public and private companies, as well as deep financial expertise. Currently a private investor, McNamee served as a managing partner of FA Technology Ventures Corporation, an information and energy technology venture capital firm, from 2000 until 2012. He serves as chairman of the board of directors of Plug Power Inc., a leading fuel cell developer, and is a director of several private companies, a Sterling Fellow of Yale and a Trustee of the Albany Academies and The American Friends of Eton College. McNamee previously served on the board of directors of Broadpoint (now Gleacher) Securities as well as serving from 1984 to 2007 as chairman of its predecessor First Albany Companies and was also a board member of the New York Stock Exchange Inc., Maplnfo, Home Shopping Network, Inc. and the Meta Group. He holds a B.A. from Yale University. McNamee will be retiring from the board of directors and is not standing for re-election at this annual meeting.
