Manos Accelerator, founded in 2013 by Sylvia Flores and Edward Avila, is a startup accelerator based in San Jose, California. They focus on early-stage startups in the high-tech industry, providing a unique 3-month mentorship program to help Latino entrepreneurs grow and succeed. Through expert mentors, training workshops, peer support, and networking events, Manos Accelerator aims to maximize the success of Latino startups by offering world-class resources. They also facilitate training programs and workshops to educate entrepreneurs about industries and provide guidance and media opportunities. In exchange for their support, Manos Accelerator takes a 4% equity stake in the startups they work with. Their goal is to be recognized as an international hub for Latino entrepreneurs from both the US and Latin American countries.
