The firm collaborates with early-stage startups to address fundraising and growth projects. UpRound's mission is to provide interdisciplinary undergraduate venture capital education, foster a stronger Michigan entrepreneurship community, and engage the wider venture community in Southeastern Michigan. UpRound has organised a student venture capital competition, partnered with VC firms, corporate sponsors, and university offices, hosted VC guests from firms with a combined $5B under management, and conducted training sessions on VC firm operations, research and due diligence, and term sheets. Over 200 students have participated in UpRound's initiatives, and the firm has obtained official Michigan qualifier status for the national uVCIC competition.
