Mohit Jain

Mohit pursued B.Tech.from Delhi College of Engineering, New Delhi where he headed the Entrepreneurship Cell and conceptualized and executed pan-India summits and start-up internship fairs, showing signs of an entrepreneurial bend of mind and an action-oriented approach. He went on to work for LimeTray and spent about 3.5 years there, starting in a Business Analyst role and learning the finer things about starting a venture beyond the vastly glamorized notion of what a start-up is. It was here that Mohit started to appreciate the internal qualities of an organization, like the culture, vision, values, and mission. While he credits this time at LimeTray for innumerable value, his perpetual hunger for exploration drove him to take a sabbatical that spanned close to a year. Starting summer of 2019, Mohit began traversing an unguided path of learning and absorbing all that came his way, and backpacked across South-East Asia, countries that were similar in demography to India and yet, had their own idiosyncrasies. He found himself in awe of how people took great pleasure and pride in their small businesses and truly lived a happy and fulfilling life – something that struck a chord with his dynamic self and inspired a question – what can I do to see my people truly become “aatmanirbhar”?, which led to the birth of Rocket Skills.
