Brett Keintz
Brett Keintz is a product manager at Groupon in Chicago, IL with the official title of "Director of Social". Prior to Groupon, Brett was CEO and co-founder of Sharethrough, a startup providing viral media distribution for major brand advertisers. Sharethrough emerged out of 750 Industries, which was founded at Stanford and built viral applications on the Facebook platform. During the beginning of the company's existence, 750 Industries grew its user base from 0 to 20 million users in 60 days. Brett began his career in 2003 at Deloitte Consulting in the Strategy and Operations practice, where he advised clients in Telecom, Medical Technologies, and Media. In 2004, he researched music piracy and digital media in Madrid as a Fulbright Scholar. His research was accepted for publication by the Society for Economic Research and Copyright Issues (SERCI) and he has also published articles on VoIP, podcasting, and p2p networks. Brett received a MBA from Stanford Business School in 2008 and holds a BS in Finance from Boston College. He's originally from Madison, WI and is a huge fan of the Superbowl Champion Packers.
