Brian Joe

Brian, the CEO of Apption, has led the company’s successful growth with a passion for building strong software teams that deliver exceptional value and exceed client expectations whenever possible. Brian has over 20 years of successful leadership experience in software product development and delivery, marketing, and business development with numerous high tech companies. Brian has held senior executive positions with Nortel, Newbridge, March Networks, and has successfully led several technology startups. As a principal with Infopreneur Inc., an industry-leading software application company, he was instrumental in growing the company and managed its successful acquisition in 2001. Brian was also founder and CEO of NewStep Networks, a telecom software company with products deployed in major service provider networks. He has served on numerous boards, has been active in coaching youth sports teams, and enjoys the chance to advise and mentor both young and old emerging entrepreneurs. Brian holds an Electrical Engineering Honours degree from Queen’s University, and an MBA from Schulich School of Business at York University.
