Philips launches smart headphones to help you sleep better
Electronics manufacturer launches sleep headphones for just $249
The Philips N7808 sleep earphones are a new addition from TP Vision. The collaboration with sleep scientist Kokoon resulted in a unique mechanism that turns off the audio as the wearer gradually drifts into a deep sleep.
The headphones have sensors that monitor sleep patterns and turn them off when the user falls asleep, which makes them the first Philips-branded sleep earphone. Although the headphones don’t have active noise cancellation support, it produces smart white noise.
The headphones work with the Kokoon app for better sleep management, and its audio output can be adjusted to automatically fade as you slowly fall asleep.
The Philips N7808 sleep earphones are designed with a slim housing that makes them easy and comfortable to wear all night.
The headphones offer excellent noise isolation and work in conjunction with an intelligent noise-masking feature that generates white noise to smooth out spikes in external noise that can disrupt sleep.
The earpiece has accelerometers and an optical heart rate monitor to make it easier to track sleep. The headphones can be used for up to 10 hours on a single charge. The product is currently sold for a launch price of $174, but it will revert to its original price of $249 after the launch period. The N7808 sleep earphones from TP Vision offer the perfect answer to the woes of disturbed sleep.
