Tinder profile can be hidden from partners, friends and colleagues
The dating app has added new features, some of which are available only to owners of paid subscriptions
In celebration of Safer Internet Day, Tinder, the dating app, is introducing new features to enable users to better regulate their interactions with others. The global rollout of the features includes:
Incognito Mode: A new premium feature that goes beyond hiding profiles. Members can like or reject other profiles, but only those who have been liked will see them in their recommendations. It’s designed to give users complete control over who views their profile on Tinder. Incognito Mode is available for Tinder+, Gold, and Premium members.
Block Profile: This new feature lets users block profiles before matching, preventing them from appearing again. It’s a convenient way to avoid seeing exes, bosses, or any other person that users don’t want to match with.
Block Contacts: The “Block Contacts” feature lets users decide which contacts they prefer not to see, or be seen by, on Tinder.
Improved User Experience: The new features aim to offer a better and more secure user experience, granting users greater control over their interactions and privacy.
Tinder continues to prioritise user safety and privacy, while also providing a platform for individuals to connect with others seeking companionship or love.
