Sergey Brin unveiled an airship which hasn’t been around since the 1930s
Passenger and cargo airship project received $250 million investment from Google's co-founder

US startup LTA has unveiled the Pathfinder 1 airship, designed for passenger and cargo transportation. With dimensions of 122 meters in length and a maximum diameter of 20 meters, this rigid airship surpasses any similar construction since the 1930s.
CEO Alan Weston states that the airship, boasting a 28-ton carrying capacity, can cover distances of up to 3,700 km in a single flight. While the passenger capacity remains undisclosed, the pilot section features two seats.
LTA has also announced plans for another airship model, measuring 185 meters long and capable of carrying an impressive 200 tons. In comparison, the Boeing 737 can only accommodate a fraction of that weight.
Founded in 2016, LTA received substantial investment from Google co-founder Sergey Brin, totaling $250 million. The company has operated discreetly until now.
