Meta plans to enlist Oprah and the Dalai Lama to promote their new rival to Twitter
Another Twitter competitor is in the works at the Zuckerberg Corporation

Meta Corporation is actively working on a new application inspired by Instagram, with the aim of creating a rival to Twitter. The project, known as Project 92, has been discussed among top company executives.
To ensure a successful launch, Meta has shared a comprehensive plan with its employees for the development of the new app. The company is also engaging with influential figures, such as Oprah Winfrey and the Dalai Lama, to support and promote the upcoming innovation.
During the Project 92 presentation, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg expressed his critique of Apple’s Vision Pro mixed reality headset, emphasizing the absence of “magic solutions” in its development.
Following Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter, alternative social networking platforms have gained momentum. One such example is Bluesky, a Twitter competitor available on the App Store, featuring a similar design and functionality. Jack Dorsey, co-founder of Twitter, is leading the project.
