Taur, a scooter company, launches a virtual showroom for prospects
Almost 1,000 scooters have already been preordered

Taur has set up a virtual showroom where potential customers can virtually test drive a number of the scooter’s features, including how to set up the foot platforms, engage the throttle, turn on the lights and charge the battery.
The scooter has a foot deck that allows passengers to face ahead while riding rather than a typical board for them to balance on.
Taur’s scooter action could more accurately be described as analogous to skiing, where you turn by pushing your weight off each foot, rather than by angling the handlebars.
They will hold pop-up shops in Los Angeles over the coming months as they prepare to launch there this year. Taur has to transport approximately 1,000 machines to LA to meet preorders and regular sales.
