International Space Station shall witness tomatoes growing in space

SpaceX has launched 50+ operation this year

Last week, another SpaceX missile took off from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, to carry a fresh batch of supplies to the International Space Station. Initially, the flight was set to take place earlier, however, due to bad weather conditions, it was postponed. 

The items shipped to the space station included new solar arrays for the space station, dwarf tomato seeds and a range of science experiments.

Elon Musk’s SpaceX has an exclusive multi-billion dollar deal with NASA that entails the company with the rights to supply NASA’s space station. During the past 10 years, SpaceX has gone on more than 24 resupply missions.

This flight is just one of the many carried out by SpaceX ships this year, as it completes its busiest year-to-date with more than 50 operations that include also two flights with actual astronauts.
