Artists have staged an action titled ‘No to AI generated images’
Professionals opposed the pictures created by the neural network

On the ArtStation platform, artists staged a massive protest by flooding the service with a ‘No to AI generated images’ message.
The reason for the outrage was the images generated by AI, which increasingly appeared on the main page of ArtStation. Artists are unhappy that such pictures are published on par with their works. At the same time, neural networks do not create something original – they are trained on images created by a person.
Previously, the photo agency Getty Images banned the upload and sale of images created by AI. According to company representatives, such pictures violate copyrights, because they are created on the basis of existing images.
In addition, Equity, a British performing arts union, has launched its own campaign. The actors believe that the spread of neural networks threatens the world with dystopian consequences.
