European airline is introducing child-free flights – at an additional cost
Corendon Airlines offers the choice to pay an extra fee for flights excluding passengers under the age of 16

The Turkish-Dutch airline Corendon has introduced an exclusive “Adults Only” flight option, available only for passengers aged 16 and above. Currently, this offering is limited to the Amsterdam to Curacao route, with a flight duration of 10 hours.
The aircraft will feature a dedicated “child-free” zone situated in the front section, partitioned off by walls and curtains to ensure a peaceful journey. This service is designed for 102 passengers, with an extra fee of €45 for a standard seat and €100 for an XL seat with extended legroom.
Corendon anticipates that the initiative will be attractive to business travelers, child-free passengers, and families looking for a hassle-free travel experience. While Corendon is the first European airline to implement a child-free zone, similar services are already common globally, offered by airlines such as Scoot in Singapore, AirAsia in Malaysia, and IndiGo in India.
