MindRiot Entertainment is working on a project about the submersible's passengers' fate

MindRiot Entertainment, a US studio, has revealed plans for a feature film, Salvaged, centered around the tragedy of the bathyscaphe “Titan.” The film will delve into the events leading to the June 2023 disaster, along with the media response that followed.

E. Brian Dobbins, renowned for producing Black-ish and The Blackening, will co-produce Salvaged. The release date for the film is yet to be disclosed. Simultaneously, MindRiot Entertainment is developing a documentary series with the same title, narrating the story of OceanGate, the company behind the Titan dive.

The submersible, carrying three tourists, a pilot, and the co-founder of OceanGate, sank to the Titanic wreckage. Days later, the US Coast Guard confirmed the discovery of the ship’s remnants, with all passengers presumed dead. The company dissolved following the tragic incident.
