Nintendo stands out as top employer, with staff showing remarkable job satisfaction
In this Japanese corporation, just one out of every 100 new employees opts for a job change, reflecting the organisation's exceptional employee retention rates
Japanese gaming console and video game development giant Nintendo has risen as a leader in Japan when it comes to retaining its new workforce.
An impressive 98.8% of their fresh hires stay with the company for at least the initial three years, a noteworthy figure considering the national average is merely 70%. Out of every 100 newly onboarded Nintendo employees, only one decides to move on, often due to personal reasons unrelated to dissatisfaction with the company’s management or their colleagues.
Experts are amazed by the exceptional results achieved by Nintendo’s Japanese branch, attributing this success to the company’s longstanding reputation in the video game industry, the robust support it provides for its employees, and its competitive salary packages.
Notably, Nintendo recently raised its employees’ salaries by 10%, citing its commitment to support its staff amid the country’s inflation and for the sake of long-term business growth.
