Sana gets $34 million to further develop their AI learning platform

Sana combines a knowledge management and enterprise search engine to create an e-learning platform

Artificial Intelligence is having an impact on all facets of how people interact with information. After seeing its annual recurring revenue (ARR) increase seven-fold in the previous year, Sana Labs has secured a round of $34 million.

The business provides an AI based platform to help employees manage information at work and use that data as a resource for internal e-learning. Menlo Ventures is leading the round for the Stockholm based Sana which includes participation from EQT Ventures, and 25 angel investors and founders. The Series B valuation of Sana is $180 million post-money.

Sana believes that it has discovered a way to combine knowledge management, enterprise learning and enterprise search technologies into one platform that functions seamlessly.

The foundation of Sana is a platform and AI engine that links to every office product used by a business, including Salesforce, email, Notion, GitHub, Slack, Trello, Asana, and any other tools you may have for communication and information collection.

All of the data dispersed over numerous apps is automatically gathered, arranged, and tracked by the Sana platform.

Sana created and modified the technology, however, OpenAI supplied the models. Sana plans to serve as an example of the scalable, long-term potential of AI.
