Warren Buffett donates most of his wealth to his children’s funds and charities
Whatever the donations, Buffett is still worth more than $100 billion

More than $758 million worth of Berkshire Hathaway Inc shares were donated by Warren Buffett to charities, one of which was founded in honour of his late wife.
Buffett donated Class B shares on Wednesday, giving 1.5 million shares to his daughter’s Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, 300,000 shares to his son’s Howard G Buffett Foundation, and 100,000 shares to the NoVo Foundation. Buffett made the donation after converting 1,600 Class A shares into 2.4 million Class B shares.
Buffett is 92 years old and is the sixth richest person in the world with a net worth of $110.4 billion. His fortune climbed by $1.5 billion this year despite the fact that the bulk of people in the ranking saw their net worth decrease as a result of market turbulence.
He made the Giving Pledge in 2010, promising to donate 99% of his wealth either in his lifetime or after, along with Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates. He has already given the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation stock in Berkshire valued at over $32 billion, and he frequently gives to the family foundations of his relatives.
